During the summer, I received a call from my daughter, Tiffani Hurst, who excitedly told me about a client of hers, Mark Purnell, who had just been released from prison after serving 15 years for a murder he did not commit.
In Part 1 of the compelling podcast titled, Justice Delayed, Tiffani describes how she was moved by her initial interview with Mark. She said he moved her in a way she generally is not moved because it is not really her job to be moved; it’s her job to look at what she can do for her clients whether their cases are moving or not. But what she said to Mark was, “I believe you.”
