The Springfield Shootout is a Covid conscious basketball competition between our youth and law enforcement, with cash prizes. Event Participants to consist of 40 kids ages 13-18 and 40 Law Enforcement Officers. Our vision for this event is to see young people of color and Law Enforcement engaging in positive interactions to promote unity and create future career opportunities for our youth.
Each contestant receives a souvenir warm up and jersey, a basketball to compete with, and a back pack with school supplies. They will compete in a skills challenge alone at opposite baskets. 10 spectators per competitor who must follow Covid guidelines (wear a mask) while watching. At the end of each round, two members of law enforcement will be in invited to take part in a 90 second “Rapid fire” round. This event will be livestreamed courtesy of Digital Boombox Network on multiple platforms.
Sponsorship Levels
- Platinum:-1200$-(4 kids) Business name on back of-40 souvenir warm ups and competitive jerseys. Business names used in all promotions and ads. Business ads to be read throughout live stream of event.
- Gold: 900$ (3 kids) Name on back of 40 souvenirs warm ups and competitive jerseys. Business name used in all promotions and ads.
- Silver: 600$ (2 kids) Name on back of 40 souvenir warm ups and competition jerseys
- Bronze: 300$ (1 kid) Business name on back of 40 warm ups only. Individual sponsors will be acknowledged along with kid participating in the event.
