SPRINGFIELD, MA — BusinessWest magazine, the bimonthly business journal covering Western Massachusetts, will honor its Difference Makers for 2019 on Thursday, March 28 at the Log Cabin Banquet & Meeting House in Holyoke.
The Difference Makers program was established in 2009 to recognize individuals and groups that are, as the name suggests, making a difference in the Western Mass. region. Since the very beginning, this recognition program has shown conclusively that are a great many ways to make a difference. And the class of 2019, the program’s 11th, makes this even more abundantly clear. This year’s honorees are:
- Carla Cosenzi, Co-president, TommyCar Auto Group
- The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts
- Peter Gagliardi, President and CEO, of Way Finders
- Frederick and Marjorie Hurst
- Joe Peters, Vice Chairman, Former President, Universal Plastics
- The Springfield Museums
Honorees are profiled in the Feb. 4 issue of BusinessWest and are available on www.businesswest.com “. The Difference Makers Gala on March 28 will begin at 5 p.m. with networking and opportunities to meet this year’s honorees. There will be live entertainment, butlered hors d’oeuvres, a plated dinner, and more networking opportunities.
