The band MALADO performed at a drive-in movie fundraiser for Camp Atwater (the oldest primarily African American camp in the country) before the movie, “The Lion King,” was shown on the side of the wall at Mercedes Benz of Springfield.
With the school year having ended on June 23rd, Chartwell K12, Springfield Public Schools, and Home Grown Springfield are helping ensure that no child goes hungry this summer through the Summer Eats Free Meals Program.
