The Indian Orchard Citizens Council is excited to announce that it will be lending a helping hand to the Easter Bunny, and will be giving out Pandemic Easter Baskets to neighborhood children, on Saturday, March 27th.
‘We are excited to announce that the Indian Orchard Citizens Council, through the generosity of many Indian Orchard businesses, and our Council Board members, will be giving out Easter Baskets of goodies to many Indian Orchard children during this difficult Pandemic year’, said Zaida Govan, President of the Indian Orchard Citizens Council.
‘A number of Indian Orchard Businesses have stepped up and donated funds to help the Citizens Council bring the ‘Magic of Easter’ to many children, and help celebrate the return of Spring, a time of renewed hope and promise for the coming year’, said Mari Tarpinian of Rick’s Auto Body. The Council would like to acknowledge and thank: CJs Towing, Ricks Auto Body, Ocean State Job Lot, Big Y, Stop & Shop, Main Street Auto, Peter Pan Bus Lines, Enlite, Nowak Funeral Home, Staples, Party City, TD Bank, Pastor Munn of the Orchard Covenant Church, and Pastor Lammie of the Greater New Life Christian Center, for their generosity, as well as several I.O.C.C. Board members who have stepped up to donate and are organizing this Pandemic Easter Basket Giveaway: Maria Roy, and Selena Hill.
Parents wishing to register their children, ages 1 thru 11 years of age, can email Iocc.council@gmail.com by Saturday, March 21st, with the child’s, name, age, and address. Parents are asked to come to the Indian Orchard Business Citizens Council on Saturday, March 27th, between 11:00AM and 2:00PM to receive their Pandemic Easter Baskets.
