Western Massachusetts – On May 31st, the Western Massachusetts Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. presented $3,000 checks to two non-profit organizations located in Springfield Massachusetts – Martin Luther King Jr. Family Services and the Boys and Girls Club, Family Services. This will be the largest contribution to local nonprofits in the history of the chapter. “This initiative not only showcased the dedication of our members, but also highlighted the strength and unity within our communities as we work towards meaningful impact,” said chapter President.
Why We Fundraise
Fundraising is a cornerstone of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Western Massachusetts chapter’s activities. It allows us to provide essential support to community programs, contribute to the development of our children, and uphold the values of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. By engaging in fundraising activities, we not only raise necessary funds, but also instill a sense of civic responsibility and philanthropy in our children.
Purpose and Impact
The funds raised through this initiative reflects our chapter’s commitment to service and organizations that support our community:
● Martin Luther King, Jr. Family Services fosters an environment where they nurture and empower the aspirations of individuals, families, and youth to achieve new realities of peace, social and economic justice, self-determination, self-actualization, and self- sufficiency.
● Boys and Girls Family Services enables all young people, especially those who need them the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
Conclusion
The Western Massachusetts Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. extends heartfelt gratitude to all who supported this fundraiser, especially our dedicated members and the generous community.
