SPRINGFIELD – On February 14, 2025, Parent Villages proudly celebrated its purchase of the 32 Hampden Street office building in Springfield, MA and its renaming of the building to: “Parent Villages Non- Profit Center!” The Staff and Board of Directors were thrilled to share this great news with their stakeholders, elective officials, community partners and program participants as they embarked on this monumental and historical endeavor!
Parent Villages, Inc. is a nonprofit organization and has serviced Springfield and surrounding areas since its founding in 2018. With a mission to provide education through two-generational programs dedicated to nurturing families impacted by violence and trauma, Parent Villages partners with other organizations, enabling them to provide support to both children and adults to close the opportunity and belief gaps that have negatively impacted the educational attainment and livelihoods of families.
With the purchase of this historical landmark, Parent Villages will be able to serve more families and make a greater impact in the Springfield and western Massachusetts area. Their building will serve as a beacon of hope for the community and for local businesses who are looking for a new home as they will have the opportunity to rent out space in the building as well as occupy it themselves.
“This all started with a desire to keep my nana’s memory alive through the vehicle she valued as much as her faith – education. We have supported forty students, honored over forty education heroes and recognized seven individuals who dedicated their lives to education and youth. I look forward to what this year will bring,” said LaTonia Monroe Naylor, CEO and Co-Founder of Parent Villages.
