Thank You

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hurst, the Point of View Team, and, You, the Readers and Community Members,
For the past thirteen years, I have been blessed by the opportunity to serve as a contributing author to the Point of View to share with you my heart on the topics of education, hope, community, inspiration, and beyond…
Together we have celebrated the triumphs of individuals, organizations, and initiatives in our community; and together we have endured local and national trials and tribulations.
This togetherness.
And your graciousness in welcoming me into your own hearts has been a true gift.
And one for which I am eternally grateful.
Alas, the journey of my life is leading me to a new writing adventure, and this thank you letter will be my last monthly piece for the Point of View…
Though I am excited for this next phase, I also am sad to be leaving the love and comfort from you all, my extended family. Strangers, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and community partners alike, you have encouraged, supported, guided, educated, and, most especially, inspired me in my roles as a mother, educator, volunteer, writer, and advocate.
You have inspired me in my role as…
A human.
In my heart and in my life, I will forever carry your model of compassion, empathy, understanding, dedication, purpose, positivity, knowledge, strength, unity, insight, creativity, and hope…
With sincerest appreciation and wishes for peace for you always –

Love and hugs,
Gianna Allentuck

Coming soon… I will be creating a podcast that focuses on stories of inspiration; and I will rely on your inspiration and the inspiration of others as the foundation for that podcast. Please feel free to contact me at gallentuck@aol.com to stay connected. ■
