United Way Chicopee Cupboard Expands Hours

Springfield, MA (6/2/2021)—United Way of Pioneer Valley (UWPV) is excited to announce that after a very successful month and thousands of pounds of food distributed, the Chicopee Cupboard is now adding evening hours to its schedule so our neighbors who are not able to reach us during the day are still able to receive the food they need.

The new operating hours for the Chicopee Cupboard are:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11am-1pm
  • Wednesdays, 4-6pm

The Chicopee Cupboard has served dozens of Pioneer Valley residents since opening, but we realized that some families were not able to reach us during our existing hours due to work, family obligations, and other reasons. “I believe that having availability during both the day and evening will allow us to feed more families while keeping the Chicopee Cupboard cost-effective,” said Paul Mina, President & CEO, United Way of Pioneer Valley.
